This position is a frontline supervisor that supports the FedEx Express Safety Above All Culture and manages day‑to‑day sort operations and Cargo Handlers at the station.
Responsibilities include leading and guiding employees in proper package handling, routing, and recovery of potential service failures within the station sort function. The Operations Supervisor oversees all CH functions, directs work activities, mentors and coaches employees, ensures compliance with FXE policies and procedures and government regulations.
Qualifications
- 2 years FedEx sort operations or senior level hourly role experience, or 2 years supervisory experience in related industry.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
- Completion of all basic and recurrency training, including DG certification.
