Overview
The Operations Manager is responsible for delivering power to the grid in accordance with requirements from the NGCP, the grid code, and/or the O&M contract. This involves ensuring that all facility equipment is operated efficiently, economically, and safely, as directed by the Operations Division Head, and in strict compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating with Team Leaders to implement approved projects and schedule plant-wide operations to increase plant productivity.
- Ensuring all machines and equipment run properly to meet load nomination requirements by holding daily meetings with Maintenance to set priority jobs for preventive and corrective maintenance.
