Responsibilities
- Directing/coordinating the daily operations to provide quality service to customers
- Communicating with dispatch and dock to coordinate movement of trailers and freight, ensuring orders are delivered in a timely manner
- Coordinating with customers to ensure their needs are met, investigating and resolving complaints and issues
- Interviewing and training new personnel
- Preparing the budget and analysis of company KPIs to increase profits and improve processes
- Enforcing company policies and procedures, safety and government regulations
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Operations management experience within the LTL Transportation industry
- Experience working with dispatch and dock personnel
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to build a team, fostering a positive work environment through coaching and mentoring
