About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Superintendent, the Operations Engineer will provide operational and process expertise and lead to ensure safe, reliable, compliant and optimised delivery of the agreed plant plan. They will take ownership of key Process Safety systems and act as Operations representative within the wider FPS North Team to support the delivery of long‑term asset improvements. The role is also pivotal in ensuring that the maintenance and upgrades of offshore and landline sites allow the Forties Pipeline System to operate safely and reliably through 2040+.
Day‑to‑day duties include developing and maintaining all technical and operational information and documentation required for FPS North (LO/LC valve database, P&ID’s, operating envelopes, etc.), updating process documentation for safe operation/release/re‑commissioning, managing FPS North Vulnerabilities Process, supporting plant readiness for programme workscopes, and acting as asset r...
