OPERATIONS - DRILLING SUPERINTENDENT

Reporting To Vice President – Canadian Drilling

Job Summary Located out of Nisku, Alberta - This position provides supervision and coordination of all aspects of operations on assigned drilling rigs (Client relations, equipment requirements, personnel and safety issues, etc.)

Internal Relationships Rig Managers, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Human Resources

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Supervision of daily rig operations (performance, requirements, safety, personnel, purchasing, client relations) for group of assigned rigs

Procurement of truck bids (rig moves), quotes for AFE’s etc.

Field visitation (rig housekeeping, training, equipment/employee issues, policy/procedures/safety inspection)

Participates in monthly safety and operations meeting

Direct supervision of the Rig Managers, and crews, including the safety of personnel and operations.
