Operational Technologies – Internship

Learn and support Abbott’s manufacturing OT systems, ensuring reliability, compliance, and secure data flow across the organization. This internship provides hands‑on experience in PLC, SCADA, Siemens, Ignition, OPC UA, OSI PI, SEEQ, and enterprise data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Manufacturing OT systems (hardware/software) under Sr. OT Engineer guidance.

• Manage PLC, SCADA, and integration layers (Siemens, Ignition, OPC UA).

• Contribute to the manufacturing data ecosystem, including OSI PI and SEEQ:

  • PI AF modelling, asset structures, and data contextualization.

  • Data mapping from source systems into standardized models.

• Support the data egress layer, enabling secure, reliable data flow to enterprise platforms and analytics tools (Asset Intellect).
