These independent risk functions provide risk and controls guidance to a variety of stakeholders that operational risks are appropriately managed and in alignment with risk appetite. The departments are responsible for providing independent oversight of policies, procedures and standards concerning the measurement, monitoring, control and reporting of risks.

This position Manager - Operational Risk & Resilience Oversight reports directly to the Head of ORRO Governance & Risk Program Oversight , with matrix reporting to the GWAM Segment Operational Risk Management team . It is part of the second line of defense – Independent Risk Management function and will support the first line of defense businesses to ensure that operational risk management tools are effectively used by the first line to identify, assess and monitor operational risks.
