Overview
Rubicon Consulting is recruiting for an Operational Buyer on a 12 month contract based in Warwickshire.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse supplier portfolio, drive initial part sourcing activities, negotiate price adjustment requests, and resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies
- Manage a work queue and ensure that POs are issued in a timely manner
- Ensure close cooperation with Internal Customers (MRPCs, requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement
- Contribute to the implementation and usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g., compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems)
- Support Supplier Management processes (qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification)
