Responsibilities
- Provide procurement support to the U.S. market specifically for ingredients, flavors, additives, and related materials.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on quality, service, cost, and capability for the assigned portfolio.
- Analyze business requirements and identify reliable suppliers to ensure assurance of supply.
- Participate in the development and execution of sourcing strategies within the Efficiency and Essential quadrants.
- Drive productivity and continuous improvement initiatives together with Improvement Leaders and COE teams.
- Identify alternative suppliers through market research and collaboration with Buyers, Senior Buyers, and Executive Buyers.
- Oversee contract implementation, supplier performance, and resolution of issues related to quality, service, safety, and supply.
