The Support / Assistant Operator job profile is a supportive role in an operational / execution environment, focusing on manual, repetitive work or assists other operational roles to support the production process and enable more senior operational roles to be more productive.
Responsibilities
- Performs various manual operational activities and/or operates basic machinery or tools.
- Performs basic checks and controls on materials, such as checking weights, size, and visual checks; signals deviations to the supervisor.
- Performs basic housekeeping by cleaning all equipment and the work environment.
- Communicates with colleagues and supervisors, discussing work, providing information when asked, and following up on instructions and guidance.
- Works in compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures; signals potential hazardous or unsafe situations and takes appropriate action where necessary. <...
