As a Junior OpenShift Engineer L1 Support, you will perform entry‑level support tasks for OpenShift clusters, learning to monitor, triage, and resolve basic issues under supervision. You will develop foundational skills in container orchestration and contribute to maintaining platform stability.
What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed
- Monitor OpenShift cluster health and raise incidents using ticketing systems.
- Follow runbooks to perform basic troubleshooting and document each step for knowledge sharing.
- Assist in service request fulfilment, such as account creation and access provisioning.
- Escalate unresolved issues to L2 support and track tickets through resolution, ensuring clear communication with users.
- Participate in change management processes by logging change requests and ensuring necessary approvals are obtained.
