Drive improvements in CNC machining as a Manufacturing Engineer based in Abbotsford. Focus on cycle time reduction and tooling in a fully onsite role.
This position, reporting to the Director of Product Development, is essential for enhancing CNC operations through continuous improvement. You will take an active role in collaborating with new product engineering teams to ensure that designs are optimized for manufacturing. A strong technical background in CNC programming and hands-on experience are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct cycle time reduction initiatives in machining
• Identify and implement tooling optimizations with measurable ROI
• Create and redesign fixturing for product quality and efficiency
• Partner with engineers during design for manufacturability
• Troubleshoot and adjust CNC programs directly on the shop floor
