Job Description

Software Developer – Aircraft Performance Tools to join Airbus Flight Physics Capability Operations team in Getafe (Madrid). This role focuses on developing On‑Board Aircraft Performance tools that generate, control and deliver aircraft performance databases embedded in avionics functions such as the Flight Management System.

Responsibilities

• Capture, understand and translate end‑users’ needs into objectives, software specifications and user stories.
• Implement required software modifications with the support of a subcontracting software development team.
• Perform software verification testing, including the definition of robust acceptance criteria.
• Support end‑users in Airbus Commercial Aircraft & Airbus Defence & Space by investigating and resolving identified problems in a timely manner.
