Summit Search Group has been retained by the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region (WMR) for the recruitment of an Office Administrator on a one-year term with possibility for extension. Established in 1998 and operating as a statutory corporation under the Province of Manitoba, WMR serves as the coordinating body for municipalities across Manitoba’s capital region, including the City of Winnipeg.

WMR’s work centers on the cross-boundary challenges that no single municipality can address alone: infrastructure investment, housing and land use, economic development, and environmental resilience. The organization’s defining initiative at this moment is the development of a new regional plan, a legislated undertaking that will shape how the region grows and coordinates services for years to come.
