Pay Range

$50.00 TO $53.00 Per Hour

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours, or 1 business day of physician referral; and document delays.
• Develop effective treatment plans and obtain physician approval.
• Treat patients according to the physician’s plan.
• Assist the nursing department with training of restorative aides.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, aides, and students in direct patient care and related activities, following the state practice act.
• Communicate patient progress, problems, and plans to supervisors and the health team.
• Participate in patient‑care conferences, utilization‑review meetings, and rehabilitation conferences as needed.
• Participate in the in‑services training program for other staff.
• Record evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, recertifications, and other required documentation.
