Occupational Therapist, Early Childhood Services

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a temporary, part-time (26.25 hours per week) Occupational Therapist in the Early Childhood, School Age and Adolescent Program. The designated office for this position is London. The successful candidate will provide services in Middlesex, Elgin and Oxford counties, with occasional travel to neighbouring counties. This position is expected to begin in July 2026 and end in July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Provide screenings, assessments, consultation and intervention;
• Participate in planning services as part of a multi-disciplinary team including family/care providers, volunteers, staff from other agencies and other TVCC staff;
• Provide community-based (e.g., home, child care, family centres) and Centre-based intervention that is direct or mediated, individual or group and adapts as needs and goals change. Intervention provided is within the Life Needs Model of Service and the Tiered Model of Servic...
