Nursery Manager - Crop Production

Nursey Manager, AGRICULTURE - Western Cape Responsible for overseeing the operations of a plant nursery, where seedlings propagated, grown, and prepared for sale or distribution. Their role blends horticultural expertise with management and customer service. Role & Responsibilities · Meet plant quality requirements according to Grower programs · Produce plants on schedule according to the nursery production plan. · Work collaboratively with global nursery partners · Ensure best plant health and clean stock practices. · Control costs and assist in annual budget planning. · Staff Management · Recording and maintaining accurate records, inventories, and data · Ensure that accurate crop records are maintained · Remain current on all regulatory compliance requirements. Must be willing to work occasionally during weekends, holidays and periods of adverse weather to accommodate emergency needs.
