Position Information
This temporary position, until approximately October 15, 2027, is for a Clinical Services team member at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI). It offers an opportunity to grow and develop clinical competencies in a fast‑paced, acute inpatient cardiac care environment.
Rotation / Shifts
Days, Monday to Friday, 8‑hour shifts.
What You Will Do
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families to facilitate assessment, diagnosis, management, and therapeutic interventions within the NP scope of practice.
- Optimize patients’ health conditions prior to admission to hospital.
- Prevent, early identify, and manage complications while hospitalized.
- Manage and optimize existing co‑morbid illnesses in hospital.
