The Nurse Practitioner (NP) works for the Medicine department at Grey Nuns Hospital. The NP is a self‑directed practitioner who functions in an extended role in the area of Primary Care Hospital Team (PCHT). This position is a Full‑time position that will have the NP role as a partner of the care team of Hospital Medicine based out of the emergency department. Focusing primarily in timely, thorough ED admissions. Communicating with the team, patient and their families is a priority. Strong skills in decision making, prioritization and clinical judgement is required.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Operations or Program Manager, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) is employed in a variety of settings across the continuum of care including acute care and continuing care.
