Nurse Practitioner AA

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Practitioner/Trainee Nurse Practitioner within the Pre‑assessment Suite at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. The role supports the Senior Charge Nurse in delivering a clinically effective service, preparing patients for admission for surgery. The post is primarily Monday to Friday, depending on service needs.

Support the Senior Charge Nurse and work closely with Nurse Practitioner colleagues, Consultant Anaesthetists, and Surgeons to manage waiting list patients attending for elective surgical and orthopaedic procedures.

Provide a high standard of efficient, individualised patient care by carrying out comprehensive medical assessments, physical examinations, and managing ongoing medical needs of elective patients to facilitate planned admission for surgery.
