Numerical Control Programmer

Job Description:

An opportunity for a Numerical Control Programmer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Manufacturing Engineering Team. The department bridges the gap between product design and shopfloor execution, ensuring that metallic and CFRP structures are manufactured efficiently, on time, and at the lowest possible cost. The team is multidisciplinary, highly collaborative, and works in direct contact with design teams and plant operators to overcome key challenges in complex aerospace programs.

Responsibilities

• Design for Manufacturing: Collaborate with design teams during early product definition phases to guarantee the manufacturability of structures and minimize production costs.
