Nuclear Medicine Technologist

You will perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures on patients to produce quality images for diagnostic interpretation. You will dispense radioisotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. There are opportunities for participation in the research programmes of the Department and also in collaboration with other departments.

• Prepare patients for Nuclear Medicine procedures by providing simple and effective instructions.
• Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures as per protocol and process the obtained data.
• Conduct Nuclear Medicine Dosimetry on patients before Y90 Microspheres treatment under angiography guidance.
• Conduct Nuclear Medicine Dosimetry on patients who have undergone Tc99m MAA procedure under angiography guidance; review SPECT/CT images, draw ROI, calculate liver-lung shunting dosage leakage, and calculate the Y90 dosage for treatment.
