Driver Development Training Program

• One on one training with a skilled driver coach
• Eight-weeks of paid, industry specific training in Ayr, ON
• Training focuses on backing skills, local/city/highway driving, safe loading and delivering techniques
• Company driver position following successful completion of training

Key Responsibilities

• Daily runs to Michigan
• Transport solid waste from the transfer stations to various landfills
• Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical items and safety issues to ensure safe operation and public safety
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, equipment damage and property damage when applicable
• Document and log driving/break periods in Kilometers on Daily Trip Report and E-logs in accordance with DOT & MTO Regulations
• Retain copies of fuel, and border toll receipts, as well as pick-up and delivery tickets to complet...
