Network Support Technician

Job Summary

F/T, permanent position. Salary $36.00/hr, 30 hours per week. Location: Mississauga (Vacancy-1).

Job Responsibilities

• Install and configure network hardware, software, switches, routers, servers, and firewalls.
• Set up GPS units and other hardware, software applications in trucks.
• Set up employee workstations and user network software.
• Inspect trucks and their communication devices every day.
• Troubleshoot onboard IT devices and update mobile apps for drivers.
• Optimize network performance, monitor everyday network traffic and security threats.
• Perform data backups and install security patches.
• Provide support to network users and truck drivers on the road.
• Maintain accurate records, resolve each IT network issue, and track issues.
