Some work can be done from a contractor site if it’s unclassified, but anything sensitive or classified must be done on-site at DND facilities. Timeline and structure The contract is expected to run from late June or early July 2026 to September 30, 2027, with a structure that includes a one-year base term and a one-year extension option. Skill set: At a minimum, the candidate needs: Either 5+ years of networking experience , OR 3+ years plus a degree/diploma or a CCNP certification Hands-on with: Routers, switches, and firewalls VLANs and access control lists (ACLs) Routing protocols like OSPF and BGP Tunneling technologies like GRE Certifications:
