In this role you will be supporting in the network engineering team to:
- Support Changes: Assist in the implementation of standard Change Requests, such as port configurations or firewall rule updates, following established safety protocols.
- Monitor & Respond: Act as the first line of defense for network alerts, troubleshooting Wi‑Fi drops and ISP outages.
- Rapid Learning: Actively seek to understand the nuances of our multi‑vendor environment through hands‑on practice and mentorship.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams and IPAM databases to ensure team‑wide visibility for all network changes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in IT networking or a recent degree/certification (CCNA, PCNSAB).
- Foundational Knowledge: Clear understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, and basic routing/switching concepts.
