Why This Role Matters
MissionHires is partnering with a global mining organization to hire a Peru-based Network Engineer. You will provide on-site network and security support, act as a 2nd/3rd line escalation SME, and ensure best practices across LAN/WAN/WLAN, SD-WAN, and firewalls within hybrid enterprise cloud environments. This role requires strong experience with Cisco (preferred), Huawei LAN equipment, and SonicWall firewalls, along with excellent communication in Spanish and English.
How You'll Contribute
- Serve as the local technical SME for network and security, providing 2nd/3rd line escalation and incident management during Peru business hours
- Oversee and support LAN/WAN/WLAN and SD-WAN infrastructure with a Cisco preference; support Huawei LAN equipment in Peru and SonicWall firewalls
