Remote Operations Center Manila is part of Vestas Global Plant Engineering. It is responsible for monitoring SCADA servers worldwide, ensuring complete and accurate data collection from wind parks, and reducing customer network downtime.
Remote Operations Center Manila supports off‑site IT infrastructure alert monitoring for other wind parks across the globe to ensure connectivity of all parks to the network, that the SCADA server is in working condition, and Vestas critical services are running to minimize lost production at wind turbines.
Responsibilities
- Off‑site network support assisting customers to ensure connectivity to the Vestas network
- Remote configuration, installation, and upgrade of network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other network devices in wind power plants (WPP)
