Network Engineer - Cloud Operations

Varian is seeking a Network Engineer position in support of our Managed Services global business. The role focuses on delivering support for public and private cloud environments and services, including supporting new and legacy applications hosted in the cloud and continuously improving Varian’s cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide network operations and support for Varian’s cloud solutions, including private, public, and hybrid infrastructure, network and security.
• Assist with upgrading, installing, and configuring various cloud solutions, including monitoring, application access, security and firewall solutions such as Palo Alto Networks, Citrix NetScaler, and Citrix ADC.
• Report on current infrastructure status and plan for future usage.
• Configure and support backbone connections over ExpressRoute (Azure) and direct connections and VPN architectures.
