Network Configuration Engineer (Night Shift | Hybrid)

Job Summary

The Network Configuration Engineer’s duties involve configuring Comcast Business services for our customers. Configure Cisco routers, Fortinet firewalls, SDWAN devices and NIDs using standard, non-standard and custom templates.

Responsibilities & Skills

• Advance level working knowledge in configuring IPv4/IPv6 routing, switching and protocols including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Radius/LDAP, IPsec, GRE, NAT, 802.1q, QOS, VRRP/HSRP, Layer 2 VPLS, SSL VPN and SDWAN.
• Advance level working knowledge in configuring SD-WAN devices such as Silver Peak and Fortinet.
• Configuration experience with Cisco routers, Fortinet firewalls, Nokia Service Routers and SD‑WAN devices.
• Working knowledge in Cloud Providers such as AWS, Azure and Google.
• Ability to read and understand network diagrams and designs and perform configurations accordingly.
