NDE Technician (St. John's)

Job Description

Extreme East Rigging is seeking a hands‑on NDE Technician to oversee daily operations and growth of our Non‑Destructive Examination (NDE) Division. This working manager role combines field and shop inspection and operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead NDE operations and ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality service delivery.
• Perform and supervise inspections: MPI, VT, LPI, PMI.
• Oversee scheduling, mentoring, training, and performance of NDE staff.
• Maintain ISO 9001 compliance and quality documentation.
• Support business development and service expansion (UT & ET).

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• CWB Level III Visual and Level II MPI/LPI.
• Minimum 5 years of NDE experience, with 2 years supervisory experience.
• Proficient in PMI/XRF and knowledge of ASME, AWS, CSA standards.
