The Aeronautical Databases Analyst is responsible for the governance, production, validation, commissioning and operational integrity of all Flight Management System (FMS) and Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) databases across the Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Jetz fleets. Acting as a technical authority within Aeronautical Services, the incumbent ensures the integrity, regulatory compliance and operational readiness of navigation data that support regular and irregular operations. They lead the identification, analysis and resolution of navigation data issues that directly affect flight safety, operational continuity and aircraft capabilities.
