We are looking for an energetic, empathetic person to support our autistic, ADHD 6-year-old son, Edwyn, over the summer as an alternative to ABA-based summer camps.
What we hope you’ll help with:
Co-create & implement an engaging summer routine for Edwyn based on his interests and growth areas (no behaviorism/ABA).
Outings: Take Edwyn to parks, libraries, rec center events, and other kid-friendly places for play and social opportunities.
(You must be able to drive and have a clean driving record—vehicle preferred but not required if you’re local.)
Skill support: Promote skills in focus, regulation/co-regulation, sensory processing, social engagement, and gentle help with routines.
Special interests: Encourage and join in with his love for Minecraft, Mario, LEGO, animals/bugs, creative building (think Crunchlabs/STEM), fantasy/myths, and “creepy” stories or science.
