Senior Municipal Engineer – Fredericton

We are looking for a Senior Municipal Engineer to join our growing team at GEMTEC in Fredericton.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, specifications, and tender documents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, cost‑effective design solutions.
• Review drawings and designs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and constructability.
• Support construction administration activities, including site inspections and responding to contractor inquiries.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce and review detailed civil design plans.
• Communicate with clients, municipalities, and other stakeholders to keep projects on track and aligned with expectations.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff as needed.
• Work office‑based design and project management with site visits to projects as required.
