Responsibilities
- Interpret job order tickets and locate underground utilities accurately
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and construction drawings
- Plan travel routes between urban and rural areas
- Operate testing and locating equipment to pinpoint underground utilities
- Monitor equipment (excavators, etc.) to ensure facilities are not damaged
- Create drawings using Visio
- Work independently while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and safety standards
- Meet project timelines in a fast-paced, field-based environment
