Position Overview
Multi‑skilled Operative – Croydon (Full‑time permanent). Annual salary up to £42,020.69 per annum, plus company van and fuel card. 42.5 hours per week (8‑5 Monday‑Friday).
Duties
- Carrying out day‑to‑day responsive repairs across void social housing properties.
- Replacing or repairing skirting boards, architraves, internal door frames, and internal doors, handles, locks, and hinges.
- Installing and adjusting kitchen units, worktops, and cupboard doors.
- Identifying and fixing minor plumbing issues such as leaks, dripping taps, and blocked sinks.
- Patch plastering and making good damaged walls or ceilings.
- Wall and floor tiling repairs, including grouting and sealing.
- Painting and decorating to a professional finish following repair works.
- Ensuring all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
