- Assist in maintaining the exploration borehole core shed
- Unpacking and marking of borehole core samples
- Conduct borehole core splitting using a diamond saw machine
- Pack out, move, stack and store borehole core trays as required by the geologist
- Dispatching of borehole core samples and chip samples to the laboratory
- Assist geologists with surface exploration activities and open cast mine activities
- Assist geologists with open cast geological mapping
