Become a vital part of AKITA Drilling Canada as a Motorhand ensuring equipment functionality and safety on the drill floor. Candidates should have mechanical skills along with necessary safety certifications.
The Motorhand is essential for maintaining equipment and assisting with operations on the drilling site. This position requires a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and adherence to safety regulations. You will also contribute to the training of Floor Hands while supporting the Driller and Derrick Hand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all machinery
• Daily inspections and issue reporting of equipment
• Update log sheets and maintenance records accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of all drilling equipment
• Mentor and train Floor Hands on safety practices
Requirements:
• Possess a valid Driver's License
• Experience as a Motorhand is required
• Certification in H2S Alive
