Molding Process Engineer

- Implement, evaluate and qualify changes to existing processes or tools designed to improve product quality, productivity and equipment efficiency.
Performs optimization to the Molding process and equipment using scientific molding principles and problem analysis and resolution tools.
- Demonstrated ability to set-up, start-up, operate and shut down process related equipment.
Must be able to work independently on new process development as well as troubleshooting current production issues.
- Provide technical support/solutions to manufacturing processes, improve yield and throughput, drive cost reduction activities and improve on part quality.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to process technicians, operators and other molding personnel.
- Communicates effectively with leads, supervisors, machine operators and supporting departments (i.e. Purchasing and Quality).
