Mobile Crane Operator

Job Purpose

. To facilitate the lifting, movement, or repositioning of heavy and massive loads in a safe and precise manner at construction or industrial sites.

Duties and Responsibilities

. Operate mobile crane to lift ,move, or reposition loads safely and precisely.

. Listen to and carry out instructions given by ground crew or helpers via radio communication or hand signals.

. Direct helpers to position outriggers and blocks properly to prevent capsizing during heavy load lifting.

. Inspect, rig, and ensure that rigging applications are configured in accordance with the load chart and manufacturer guidelines.

. Assess loads to determine their weight and compare it against lifting capacity to prevent the risk of overload.

. Interact closely with customers for accurate movement of materials and equipment.
