Mine Site Coordinator

Smook Contractors is seeking a Mine Site Coordinator for our Vale operations located in Thompson, MB.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial trucks or tractors to move goods and materials from one location to another.
• Support project personnel in administrative, technical, and field‑support activities.
• Repair, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul, and maintain heavy‑duty equipment, diagnosing and performing general maintenance and repair.
• Lead HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, and policy development.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, Class 3 Water Truck Driver .
• Experience operating equipment such as backhoe, dozer, forklift, grader, loader, packer, rock truck, tandem truck, tractor, and trailer.
• Knowledge of air brakes and ability to detail hours spent on each type of equipment.
