As a Millwright at Tree Island Steel, you will perform both emergency and preventative maintenance on various machinery. This position plays a crucial role in reducing unplanned breakdowns while supporting planned maintenance strategies in a vast facility. Membership with the Teamsters Union, Local 213 is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Conduct thorough preventative maintenance inspections
• Rebuild and adjust gearboxes and hydraulics
• Dismantle and install industrial mechanical equipment
• Clean and lubricate machinery regularly
Requirements:
• BC or inter-professional millwright qualification
• At least five years of experience in heavy industries
