Under the guidance of the Technical Services Manager, the Industrial Millwright will play a role in installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. They interpret blueprints, assemble machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely to minimize downtime and increase efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Train with vendors, including software training (PLC, HMI, VFD, etc.).
  • Assist in setting up the PM program and spare parts inventory system.
  • Build a CMMS system and create work instructions, SOPs, and other documents.
  • Promote Health and Safety, Food Safety, and GMP culture.
  • Drive Lean practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Liaise with leadership to provide best practices and analyze uptime/downtime impact.
