Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the role of Maintenance Millwright is to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment and utilities used within the precast manufacturing plants & buildings.
THE DAY TO DAY
- Perform all duties in a safe manner.
- Work with other Maintenance team members to accomplish tasks.
- Operate equipment such as overhead cranes, genie booms, forklifts, milling machine, lathe, horizontal bandsaw and other hand‑powered tools.
- Troubleshoot and test equipment.
- Perform mechanical repairs on equipment.
- Execute scheduled PM’s and report findings to supervisor.
- Weld and fabricate as required.
- Facilitate the start‑up and installation of new equipment.
- Work is performed and documented through a CMMS program.
- Work with maintenance supervisor for scheduling of down time to work on equipment or projects.
