Industrial Millwright
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Millwright is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities and the fabrication of components, guards, or other items as required. The Maintenance Department operates on a three‐shift rotation and includes both Electrical and Millwright trades.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and remedy mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic problems in production areas.
- Perform duties as outlined by the Provincial Government in accordance with Regulated Trade 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright.
- Use all common hand tools to perform preventive maintenance on welders, weld fixtures, and all other equipment.
- Read, interpret, and use micrometers, verniers, and other precision instruments.
- Operate machine tools, lathes, mills, grinder drills, and similar equipment.
