Middle/Senior School Librarian

Responsibilities

• Ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.
• Empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information.
• Instill a love of learning in all students and ensure equitable access to information.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers.
• Provide the leadership and expertise necessary to ensure that the school library program is aligned with the mission and vision of the school.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelors Degree in any related field of study.
• A minimum of two years experience.
• UAE work related experience is an advantage.
• A compassionate and patient individual with an ability to educate and motivate students of all ages and aptitude to collaborate with teachers and other staff.
