METROLINX Track Inspector, Central

Position Overview

Reporting to the Track Supervisor, the Track Inspector evaluates existing track conditions through track inspections on an assigned territory, sets work priorities on a daily basis, and provides recommendations and input on measures needed to ensure uninterrupted and safe train operations. The Track Inspector also supports emergency response when required. The Assistant Track Supervisor oversees small groups of employees executing track maintenance work. This is a full-time permanent position based out of the Oakville area that requires work within Kitchener/Hamilton to Toronto.
