To perform laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare specimens, samples, and reagents.
- Operate and ensure regular maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Participate in equipment validations, calibrations, quality controls and assessments.
- Ensure the laboratory is well‑stocked and resourced.
- Promptly and accurately record laboratory results and present them for approval.
- Ensure safety of all data records generated in the laboratory.
- Keep up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time, improve quality and reliability of processes and results.
- Adhere to standard laboratory safety measures and checks.
- Participate in scientific meetings within the organization.
