LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is seeking a Medical Lab Technologist to join our High Volume Chemistry team in Burnaby, British Columbia (3680 Gilmore Way) . Applicants must be eligible to work within Canada and reside outside British Columbia.
In this part‑time regular role you will work 20-37.5 hours per week with flexible shift work. Shifts include days, evenings and nights.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing.
- Perform, interpret and release results while ensuring the confidentiality of patient information.
- Identify incidents and non‑conformities, participate in the development of effective corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement.
- Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology.
- Participate in problem solving in work organization and workflow.
