Media Relations Coordinator

The Media Relations Coordinator will support a number of programs and ongoing initiatives across Ontario.Applicants will work to support the Marketing & Fundraising.

This role will work to support a number of marketing and fundraising initiatives across the province.This position will support both the back and front-end work needed to execute these events. Examples of these initiatives include the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Ontario,a community-based, province-wide series of events that see the “Flame of Hope” carried across Ontario by members of law enforcement agencies from across the province.

This role may have the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Assist with social media calendars, planning, and posts.
• Assist with preparation of media releases and advisories.
• Website and newsletter creation, upkeep and distribution.
